- When a "paint check" is called the judge may call a player neutral to check him or check from a distance.
- The player is NOT neutral until the judge touches the player on the shoulder and calls him "NEUTRAL!"
- After the check, and if the player is clean, that player has the option to take a "FIVE SECOND" count on an opponent called the paint check ONLY!

14. OTHER:
- After the captain's meeting BEFORE the Summer/Winter League begins, there will be NO teams allowed to enter the league (exceptions may apply.) A team may assume a quitting team’s score, and continue play.
- If a team drops out during the season, or before completing scoring opportunities, their points "for" and "against" will be removed from the scoring as if they were never there.
- This is with exception to the last month of play, and after completing a full round of scoring when we play each other twice.
15. BARREL PLUGS:
- Use a barrel plug after you have been eliminated on the field.
- Keep a barrel plug in your barrel when you are not shooting your gun, and when you are in the parking lot/staging area.
- This does NOT mean that you cannot shoot in the parking lot. We just want it to be a controlled shot.
- Wear your goggles at the chrono!
17. PLAYER POOL:
The SWOPP League Player Pool is designed to promote the sport of paintball by allowing walk-ons to participate in the league and gain valuable experience while playing paintball at a professional level.
First, this format will provide for teams that show up short of regular players a chance to fill their roster for that day.
Secondly, those
left in the "pool" after all teams are at their full complement will
then be added to the last place, or lower seeded teams, in the even of the
season starting, one team at a time until all walk-ons are utilized. For example, if 8 walk-ons sign up for the
player pool and 3 teams are short of players, with 2 teams short 1 player and 1
team short 2 players. Then the 3 teams are filled to their full complement 5
(during 5man league), using the first 4 walk-ons who signed up. Then the
remaining 4 walk-ons in the player pool will be assigned, one at a time, one to
the last place team then one to the next to last place team then one to the
next and then the next. In the event of more, this format would carry on until
the list is exhausted. Starting over at the bottom, once every team has had an
opportunity to acquire a player from the pool. There will be, and have been
occasions, where teams play with 7 or more players in this 5-man League.
A team can elect to NOT accept a player from the player pool, in the event that they might have EXTRA PLAYERS on hand that day. And they may use those extra players when they play a team that is utilizing extra players from the Player Pool above their full complement. Otherwise, this team can only use 5 players when playing other teams with 5 players who did not get players from the Player Pool, or choose not to.
THE SCORING OPPORTUNITIES DO NOT CHANGE! A 100 point max is still in effect. Although when scoring against a team with extra players, a max can be achieved and there can still be players left alive on that team. And if the extra players are eliminated, NO MORE POINTS ARE GAINED!
THE PLAYER POOL WILL NOT BE UTILIZED IN A TOURNAMENT AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
THIS IS THE WAIVER EVERYONE MUST SIGN BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THE S.W.O.P.P. LEAGUE
